Northern Europe, native to the Scandinavian Peninsula in the European Boreal Forest zone.

Thermowood is rated as class 2 'durable' and the BRE suggest a life span of around 30 years. Thermal modification improves stability, weather resistance and overall durability making it perfect for internal and externally timber panelling.

The most common use of Thermowood is in External Cladding, Internal Cladding and Decking due to its exceptional stability and durability. Often used as the more cost effective option of Sauna's and other high moisture environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.
