Why should I Choose Engineered Flooring?
When compared to solid Oak, Engineered Oak Flooring, is a great alternative that is not only cheaper but looks just as good once laid. The boards have a back layer of 11mm birch plywood, with a 4mm layer of Oak laid on top. All the boards are tongue and groove and are available in certain widths based on the finish (Some of the options have various widths for you to choose from).
Another main advantage of engineered flooring is that it is more stable than solid Oak flooring, meaning there is less movement in the floor than you would usually see. This makes it less maintenance than other floors.
This flooring is also one of the few products that we supply pre-finished ready for you to install off the bat, so it leaves you with minimal work, although we do recommend you employ an experience installer to fit our flooring.
